Warm Blue Moon = Skunk in a bottle
Came to the realization tonight that when Blue Moon gets warm, it tastes like the stink that comes out of a skunks behind. That led me to drink faster and more of them. Quite drunk off the 5.4% alcohol beer. Great night. Would probably pay $3 for a Blue Moon.
Favorite Beer
As Dyke and Mike already know, Mad Elf by Troegs is my absolute favorite beer. Not only does 3 bottles of it knock you on your ass, but it tastes great too. Not many people like a beer so thick you can cut it with a knife, but its holiday flavor makes it a hoppy yuletide favorite. Unfortunately for most, Mad Elf is a seasonal beer, so it's only around for a couple of months. I'm fortunate enough to have a bar located in my small hometown that serves this liquid gold on tap 10 months out of the year. That bar is the Batdorf (batdorfrestaurant.com) located in Annville PA.
For a town that could fit on Penn State's campus, this bar has quite the beer selection and has a huge nightly turnout from neighboring townsmembers. Prices are reasonable, food is good, atmosphere is relaxing, and the beer never stops flowing. So, if you're ever in the area, I highly suggest checking it out.
